HyperCOG delivers Industry 4.0

The EU-funded HYPERCOG Project has finished successfully. It has demonstrated the potential of cyber-physical systems and big data analytics to transform the process industry, making it more efficient, greener and more sustainable. This video, filmed in Sidenor steel plant at Basauri in Northern Spain and MSI facilities, explains the work and the results that the partners achieved over the course of the four-year project, providing information about the benefits industries will see by adopting this technology that blurs the lines between the physical and digital worlds. Meanwhile, a detailed explanation of how workers will be trained to use such cyber-physical systems was also provided, along with details of the life-cycle analysis that was conducted.
