02 New Start-ups SIAPS Visual Inspection Systems S.L (Spin-off launched in 2024) Basque Tek Ventures Program 2024 (Selected New technology-based company (NEBT) Project) In 2024, LORTEK launched its spin-off SIAPS Visual Inspection Systems S.L., the result of years of ad- vanced research in computer vision and artificial in- telligence applied to industrial processes. SIAPS is a technological solution for automated surface ins- pection based on vision systems. Its aim is to detect defects and ensure quality in industrial processes with precision, reliability, and efficiency. SIAPS ad- dresses a critical industry need: guaranteeing tra- ceability and product quality without compromising productivity. SIAWELD was created with the goal of revolutio- nizing joining processes through integrated digital solutions, focused on real-time monitoring, ad- vanced data analytics, and intelligent automation. Its approach is to digitalize welding to create more efficient, sustainable, and controlled processes, aligned with the demands of Industry 4.0.
