Ane Miren Mancisidor receives the Keynote Paper Award at EuroPM2025 for advances in metal additive manufacturing

Ane Miren Mancisidor, researcher at LORTEK's Additive Manufacturing Technologies Group, has been awarded the Keynote Paper Award at the EuroPM2025 conference, recently held in Glasgow. This recognition positions LORTEK as a leader in metal additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy, underscoring its commitment to applied research and industrial innovation.

The award-winning paper, entitled ‘Development of Al2024-TiB2 Powder Mixtures Processable by PBF-LB/M for High Demanding Applications’, was selected as one of the six best articles in the edition. The study contributes significant advances in the development of metal powder mixtures that can be processed using PBF-LB/M (Powder Bed Fusion – Laser Beam / Metal), showing specific applications of additive manufacturing technologies in highly demanding industrial environments.

The EuroPM conference, organised by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA), is one of the most important events in powder metallurgy and advanced manufacturing, bringing together researchers, experts and professionals from around the world to present the latest advances in additive manufacturing, PBF-LB/M and metallic materials.

This achievement reflects the excellence of LORTEK's research team and its ability to apply metal additive manufacturing to innovative industrial solutions, consolidating LORTEK's position as an international benchmark in additive manufacturing and metal additive manufacturing technologies.
