This project focuses on digitising a tube manufacturing line in order to monitor and improve end-product quality. To do so, the most important process variables, such as welding temperature and forming roller pressure, among others, will be captured.
It is important to carry out a diagnosis of existing sensor systems and assess the quality of data captured. In this regard, the project will study using additional sensor systems to gain deeper understanding of the process.
All data will be integrated into a digital platform that will allow real-time monitoring and history log access.
The project will lead the way to identifying interesting manufacturing patterns, detecting possible improvements and optimising the process in a more precise and detailed way.
LORTEK has developed its own algorithm to view process variables and identify events related to the quality of the end product.
A diagnosis of existing sensor systems has been provided, in addition to installing and proposing additional sensor systems, always aligned with the client's needs and vision.
The expertise of the joining department has provided a deeper understanding of manufacturing by induction brazing processes, along with proposed improvements and ideas for its implementation.
Likewise, LORTEK has supplied a digital platform to centralise and view the entire production process.
