Scope
The objective of the project is to demonstrate the feasibility of welding galvanized steel using arc welding processes for the manufacture of structural props, ensuring both mechanical strength and corrosion protection, and enabling integration into efficient production lines.
Solution
Lortek contributes as an expert in advanced welding, developing and validating direct welding on galvanized steel without the need to remove the coating beforehand. It defines parameters, technologies, and coating solutions, and validates the quality of the joints, facilitating implementation in automated industrial processes.
