Scope
The objective of the project is to develop and demonstrate a technically viable and economically profitable repair process to recover forging dies through metal deposition, achieving a service life equal to or greater than that of a new die.
Solution
The full development of an industrial die repair process using metal deposition (laser and arc), including material selection, parameter definition, technological comparison, and delivery of a functional demonstrator ready for production testing.
