Management Policy

Lortek S.Coop. is a private technology centre that generates excellent knowledge in digitalisation of manufacturing processes, and transfers it to the industrial sector to boost its competitiveness and sustainability.

We are accredited members of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI) and a member of the Basque Research & Technology Alliance (BRTA) consortium, with a culture of innovation, social commitment to gender equality and transparency.

Lortek S. Coop. has an Integrated Management System, based on the requirements of UNE 166002 and UNE EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards, which aims at increasing its activity competitiveness and is based on the following values:

These skills are reflected and developed in people's behaviour and are the cornerstone of LORTEK S. Coop.'s culture.

Lortek S. Coop. has implemented this Management Policy as an overriding statement of its position, which is defined in the following general objectives:

• To increase customer and stakeholder satisfaction by implementing the Management System effectively.

• To acquire the tangible and intangible assets needed to maintain and continuously improved excellent knowledge generation and successful transfer to the industrial sector.

• To raise awareness about the importance of effective management by motivating and encouraging the entire workforce to participate in the organisation through teamwork, collaboration and communication.

• To develop a collaborative strategy that improves relationships with key stakeholders who can help us enhance our innovation and transfer activities.

• To implement effective mechanisms to guarantee impartiality and confidentiality are applied to the activity subject to the accreditation criteria based on UNE EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and provided to our customers, or carried out as part of our project development.

These objectives are incorporated into our commitment to comply with all requirements applicable to us, such as the requirements of our customers, other stakeholders, regulations, laws and standards, etc.; and continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the organisation by means of systematic reviews within our Management System.
